Heck yes!

If it is run in its happy zone. <<< :spyder:

Talking RT here. Can only emagine how well it performs in the RS platform.

You make my day!

:agree: Never had any complaints about the engines in the GS or the RS. One with SM5 and the other SE5. Much more snappy than the pre 2014 RT's. Cannot address the 2014 since my most recent is a 2011.

I hit redline pretty darn quick if I try :yikes:

I like the V-twin but if I had a say it could use more power in the RT chassis (hence the 3 cyl. in the 14) I bet there is room to grow that V-twin but BRP must have felt the triple is the better choice.

That engine (I think) kind of has it's roots in the Aprilia Sportbikes... The powerband is a bit high in the rev-range; I'm guessing that they wanted to bring a powerplant into the game, that was more of a "torquer"...
It makes for more relaxed cruising.
But the Twin sure can sing, when properly provoked! :2thumbs:

The "key" is to keep it in the power band for performance and economy . I have never felt the RT was at a loss for power, only torque and a gear, hence the 1330. I've never ridden an RS but it is surely a bigger thrill with a couple of hundred less pounds to tote around.
