Wanted to add another hotel option - this will be our 3rd Hill country Spyder ride :2thumbs:
The past 2 years we have stayed at the Best Western Sunday House Inn located at 2124 Sidney Baker Street in Kerrville, TX.

I spoke with Cathy at the hotel and management is willing to give us standard room discounted rate of $89.95 night based on a 2 night stay. Standard rooms include a Queen or King bed.I told them nights would be Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th, checking out Sunday, October 19th.
This rate also includes breakfast at the restaurant located on their property.

When you call just tell them you are with the Spyder group and they will know to give you this rate. Look forward to another great weekend of riding & fellowship!

I've been following Mr. SmallPasture around the Texas Hill country for the last 4 years. It's gunna be a real treat to have other Spyders around! :2excited:

I can not recommend Butler's map of the Texas Hill Country highly enough. There is so much more to the Texas Hill Country than just the Three Sisters! Trust me! If ya like slow single lane twisty ranch roads w/ cattle guards and loose cattle (not loose as in loose, loose. Just roaming free) your in for a treat and the Butler map has them all!!!

Count us in for our first Spyder trip. My wife and I are looking forward to this trip. We live in Old River Winfree which is about 30 miles east of Houston. My only slight complaint is that Fairfield Inn would only honor the special promo rate for Friday and Saturday night. Because of where we live we planned on staying over Sunday night if we do Fredericksburg, one of our favorite places. May have to change our plans and hit Houston Sunday and miss the traffic.:dontknow:

One of the nicest RV parks less than 1 mile from Coyote...Alamo Fiesta RV Park. IH10W between exits 543 and 542 on the east side of the Interstate. It is just south of Boerne...maybe 1/2 mile. Great park with full hookups. Hope the knee does okay.

We have a Sponsor this year Can Am Dealer Coyote Power-sports of Boerne Tx.He will be providing us with a BBQ meal & Music and discount rooms at the local hotel.

Oct 17- 7pm Meet at Coyote PowerSports 32127 IH 10 West for Dinner. If anyone is interested there will be a lunch ride Friday from Boerne to Alamo Springs Café. We will go by way of Blanco, Luckenback,Alamo Springs, Comfort, Center Point. Camp Veide, Bandera and back to Boerne. We are not going to be able to make it. Was changing my rear tire and found a bad bearing. Hard to believe, but out of three dealers within a hundred miles of me right now, none have the bearings or seals in stock. I had called San Angelo this morning to check on the parts I wanted, they took down all the numbers and said that they would save the list so it would be all ready to go if I wanted them. Ran down in the car and the parts guy looked up the list quoted me the price and then said, they will be in next Wednesday. Ordered through Gearhead and with shipping it is $20 cheaper and may even be here faster.

You won't believe the hill country weather report for Oct. 17-18....mid 50s to mid 80s with lots of sun. Could not be better. I am looking forward to seeing all of you. I traded my Big Red 1 in on a 2014 RT-Ltd (Mr. Cognac) last Saturday and have nearly 23 miles on him....rain and been busy and no riding. See ya Friday and you can help break him in...ha ha

My wife and I are heading out from the North Dallas area Friday morning around 8:30ish a.m. to the Hill Country. We are taking the scenic route with some stops at a couple recommended burger joints. If anyone is interested in joining us for the ride let us know and we can meet up. Made it to Fairfield suites stopped by Coyote before they closed they say my belt ate a rock EEK! Why it keeps creeping to the flange but oughta be able to ride this weekend after they adjust/ inspect it. Apparently it's a tad tight and rock did some damage awhile back. And extended warranty probably won't cover it.

On Friday Daryl and Charles led the group to Blanco, Luckenbach, Comfort, Bandera and back to Coyote for a nice BBQ supper. On Saturday, after a catered breakfast, about 50 Spyders headed to Leakey and stopped at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop for PR and lunch. Then on to the Three Sisters (FM 335,336 and 337) with lots of steep hills and sharp curves. We had perfect weather both days....all went well and again, thanks for a great weekend.

My wife and I had our fist visit to a Spyder get together on Friday night (17th). I'm saving up to buy an RT-S and I thought this would be a great opportunity to ask questions and make new friends. You may have seen the man taking photos of you when you rode by on 337. He is Moto Photo and is there most weekends. You can order Xmas cards, photos, etc from him. When you go to the site our photos were all over the place because we were seperated. See #4 for the first Spyders and then work you way along the numbers until you come to your Spyder. I have ordered from him for years. Great pics. I do not have anything to do with Moto Photo, just trying to help your enjoy your memories of our great rally.
