As I recall the trailer weighs 190 pounds empty. That would give you the ability to tote 290 pounds as the limit for the bike to 400 pounds. The sticker inside the RT-622 says not to exceed 150 pounds of cargo.

The tire size is 5.30x12. Compared to the RT-622 which has 4.80x12 tires on the 2014 we just bought.

The Excape XL matches capacity of the RT-622 at 22 cubic feet, but that stuff in the RT-622 has got it lighter by 140 pounds!

Would you be willing to sell the hitch with it?

That looks like the one that Pierre from Spyder TV has and he has put quite a few miles on his. Maybe message him and ask his opinion of it.

I have one I use with my RS. Pulls fine, just make sure you load it right. Doesn't like low tongue weight...but I'm pulling with RS.

When I decided to buy the 2014 RT Limited a friend made me an offer on our 2012 RT Limited but did not want the trailer. Strangely enough he does want the hitch. Can't explain that one, but that was the deal. So, no hitch to sell.

These are terrific trailers & front biased, tow very well - and are not bouncy. If you load and use the cooler, it should never have a loading issue. I had a bit of leakage around the lid, when mine was new, which was easily fixed.

It is much more robust than the 622, doesn't look as pretty, but at the price is an unbeatable value. The price difference will fund a LOT of nights away from home. I highly recommend these trailers.

Local Goldwing owner paid the the asking price.

Then we go out and buy a John Deere 1025r subcompact tractor with mower deck and front end loader. Toys, gosh I'm lucky to have a wife that loves toys as much as I do.:shemademe_smilie:

64 degrees and sunny. We put 125 miles on our 14 RT Limited yesterday. Supposed to be 70 and sunny today. Guess what I'll be doing.
