Saw this in the new catalog. Looks cool but I've never felt like my Micron pushes too little air. :doorag: The duals are pretty much aesthetic only.

I wonder why can-am didn't go undertail exhaust with the spyder.

Undertail exhausts are an inferior design. Suzuki has always known that. Not sure why Honda and Yamaha took so long to figure it out. The incline hinders throughput.

Really, have any links to that...never heard that before?

Guess Suzuki changed their mind on the 'B King' ... most powerful standard bike currently on the market. I'm getting one soon. :2excited:

HOW MUCH, AND CAN I DO IT MYSELF

I believe it was around $1100. There's no reason you couldn't do it yourself from the looks of it.

What would look better is the slip-ons on each side of the Spyder. Now only if one of these companies would build one.

Evoluzione.net tried making some duals, one on each side, but he decided not to sell them. I think the price got way up there for a set of duals ($1800...?) and there weren't any buyers at that price. There may have been some other problems too. I don't know for sure but I do remember seeing videos of them on his Spyder.

I was just going back through history to learn about those. He discontinued because they were hand built, hand welded, for each order... and cost more than what the market would bear. Low volume did 'em in... no economies of scale.

You could always purchase Magic Man right angle or a right angle from mandrel shop and a Y collector and whatever twin exhaust cans you want to achieve that 2 bro's look.

Two Bro's Racing used my Spyder to develope the exhaust... you're looking at my bike! It's featured on their web site and in their catalog. My husband says the thing that will catch a motorheads eye is the x pipe at the end of the collector. Two Bro's dropped one side lower so it would work better so that the back pressure is equal. The bike revs higher and runs better. I just love it! It's loud, responsive and fast! I took the tips out!

If you go to TwoBro's.com and go down to the utube link you can hear the duals with the tips in...it doesn't do it justice! I'll try to get a sound clip on this site.

Are the twin exhausts true twins... one from each cylinder into it's own muffler, or are they two into one into two. Every twin that I'm familiar with produces the best power with pipes that are joined together and not with completely separate pipes.

I found these on the two brothers website and I think this is what I am gonna go with...after much thought and research I think this is it!!...Congrats to Leadfootlady for being the first!! My Spyder is yellow too and that picture is perfect for showing me exactly what mine will look like!!

My dual exhaust comes from the header to the collector into the "X" pipe and each pipe from there goes separately into its own can staggered on top of each other. By using the "X" pipe there is enough back pressure so it does'nt "POP" when you get off the gas fast. I get looks everywhere I go, people hear me coming!!! Good safety feature!!
