A laser workshop will be held not far away from where I live . Is it worth it on a brand new -14 RT?
Thanks

Check this thread, http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?63778-Squared-Away-laser-alignment-on-2014-RTS&highlight=laser+alignment+2014

If you do a search you will find others talking about the results when their 2014s were checked. There have been a lot of other posts on the work Squared Away has been doing.

if we check your Spyder and no alignment is needed there would be no charge.

I've done five 2014 RT's and they all needed it, mine was the worst.

Why does BRP not buy this magical alignment system. This is nuts that every, or almost every bike delivered is out of alighment.

Unfortunately the Spyders are not completely assembled at the factory, assembly is completed by the dealer during the PDI. The Outlaw (ROLO) system aligns the Spyder with the wheels in place and the drive belt adjusted and the sprocket aligned, so the factory would have to do the PDI then disassemble the Spyder somewhat, for crating, and the dealer would have to put it back together and not mess with the rear wheel. In short, this system is better used by dealers and independent specialists. The factory does use a laser alignment tool to set the Spyders at the factory, but it uses a very different procedure and distances, and is not as precise, nor does it align to the rear wheel (3-wheel alignment), but rather the frame (2-wheel alignment.) Most Spyders are within the BRP specs as delivered, but that spec is for an unloaded Spyder and it isn't as precise a measurement as the other system provides. In other words, the factory alignment may be good (although some are not), but the ROLO alignment is better.

where is the closest location to Oklahoma City to get this alignment done. The dealer here does not have it.
