Naahhhhh! My neighbors do it all the time. I live about 10 miles from JBER military base. Last week they were doing "war games." We could hear the mortars, machine guns, and artillery going off at 2:00 AM in the morning--and all hours in between. The games were on for almost a week.

I live close to Fort Riley and due to the topography it sounds like they are shooting in my back yard. When they are "playing" with the big guns pictures on the walls have to be straightened. Small price to pay to keep the boys up to date and to keep the country safe. :ani29: Penny
