Nah, a trick for sure--IMO. This would have been on the national news if it really happened. Note, that at the beginning he was playing to an empty theater except for the "volunteers." Also, fake blood being spit out by the "victim."

I'm pretty sure that if Cris Angel chopped someone's head off by accident; it'd make all the papers... :D

He wouldn't have any feeling below the cut at all. And he sure wouldn't be hollering about his legs. Fake. Happened in 2009. This is not the entire video. The last part which shows the guy standing up and Angel telling the people they have been pranked, was cut.

My wife does not like him at all. I like his street illusions better than his stage illusions. I like David Blane too.

A surgeon did something not dissimilar to me ten years ago! Still, at least he didn't go all the way through :-)

why would anyone post something like this...tabloid sale at check out dropping..?? They know people will look, hence the term rubber neckers, Angel could be upset for saying he failed or not for the added coverage. So does cuznjohn's warning make it more interesting or do you shy you away..?? Come on now the man posts a lot of funny interesting stuff. Could it be curiosity to find out if it is funny or not...gotta say I opened the thread to see what it was about but did not watch not that curious....;)

i watched it because it was on face book, i personally think it would be on the news if it was real, but to be honest i did it for shock value.

In my years as a firefighter/EMT and combat, I've seen a whole lot worse. Shock value? Not here.
