It is not better, except for the added road service, it is just an extension of the factory warranty.

When you are out of the factory warranty then BEST kicks in. You have to pay a $50 fee for each time you have service done with BEST. You also much purchase BEST before your factory warranty expires. There was a deal that ended yesterday that gave you 2 years of BEST free with the purchase of a new Spyder. If you are looking to buy a new Spyder try to get the dealer to throw the BEST in for free. It never hurts to ask. If you are looking to purchase coverage for an older Spyder you should shop around for price.

And any remaining Best warranty is transferable to new owner when you sell or trade, but they do not give any rebate. I just traded my '11 with over 2 years left and that in itself is a nice chunk of change. Nice for potential new owner.
