Okay, silly question...

Do you have a nut, or cap, on the bolt through the rear tire? :dontknow:

I've just noticed that the end of the bolt has a cotter pin, like it should, but it looks unfinished.

My SE5 came with a cap over it but my dealer said they just started putting them on

It would be nice if someone could locate the part number so we could order them.

All of us SM folks would probably shut down the SE production line if we did locate the number. :D :D

Actually, I covered the nut wth the cap off a bottle of Powerade... fits perfectly and hasn't fallen off in almost 300 miles! (and a really cheap mod!)

I had a nut on my rear tire when I came out of the filling station the other day. I asked him to get off... ;)

I would like to know the price of the BRP rear axle nut cover since I have the Gatorade cap (painted black) on mine. My guess is $20 based on the price of other accessories. BRP has probably been watching this site and stole the idea and went out and bought a bunch of plastic bottle caps.

Please don't ask why they're different part numbers if they're both the same..:dontknow: I haven't seen them yet, so the cotter pin may require that one is bigger...don't know yet.

4 bucks each.

It should not cost anything, if one guy gets it everyone should be entitled....its kind of like HEY you forgot a piece of my SPyder please send it out to me now situation. If you baught a car and found out that one of the windows was missing, would you go to the parts counter and BUY one? I doubt it.

Here are a few different ideas. I think Atadude's are the current BRP axle nut caps.
