I'll make sure that it's done before the bike leaves the shop!
Thanks!

Looks like an easy, although unfortunate, fix.

This issue was caught on the 2nd & 3rd bikes delivered in US so very few others made it out the door without the fix already done

Took delivery of my 2014 rt limited last Saturday. got to ride one day, been shop in pieces since Monday. Only 1/2 qt of oil in 177 miles. Shop found clutch cover gasket leaking plus another plug. My 3rd spyder with problems.

Is there a way of telling which bikes have allready been corrected??? or which bikes made it out before the problem was noticed?

I'm told there are less than 200 units effected by this. It has to do with the bonding agent that is used for the Loctite. Not ALL 2014 RT's are effected.

So, should we just be aware of this and watch for any leaks or bring it to the dealer before we ride anymore or wait for the first service and let the dealer do this service bulletin??

Thank You Lamont for all your expertise and help:thumbup:

If it's not leaking now it most likely won't but should be checked at first service.
