Our Tink has the same problem with a mere two inches of snow...

That brought a smile to my face. We owned and raised Shih-Tzus for many years...and they have less ground clearance than a Spyder with a flat tire. I always had to keep an area shoveled for the doggie outhouse. The way we havbe been shoveling up here the last couple of days, I'm glad we don't have the dogs any longer. On the other hand they would have kept the bed warmer. :D

Small dogs do help warm the bed better than a hot water bottle!

At 25 pounds, our dog is a giant, as Pomeranians go . . . but I still have to shovel a path for him if there is more than a few inches of snow . . . or he'll stand there, looking at me, until I do! There is no doubt about who works for who in this house! Look close . . . that is snow on both sides of him! 81372

Cute pup! nojokeThe breed was originally about 30 pounds. Someone gave Queen Victoria a very tiny one, and it became fashionable to have tiny Pomeranians. They now have to be between 3 and 7 pounds to show. The lady we bought him from was trying to get the dog back to the original size . . . I think she succeeded! He's a great dog . . . 10 years old now and still thinks he's a puppy!
