Ok today I installed an actuator and water proof switch to open my trunk. The key must be on to work. Those of you with bar risers it is very easy to break into your trunk. I know because I locked my key in and it took a matter of minutes to get in. The cable can be popped out of it holder and pull the cable and whala your in. I don't have pictures yet. Try to get some later. Works great.

I want the trunk to open and close like the hatch on our Chrysler Town & Country. with a little electric motor to operate it. Why stop half way with a remote open if you have to get off to close it.

Ok popcorn is ready but bulb burned out in projector. Today I added the seat to electric actuators. The switch I used is for a outboard tilt and the actuators are for after market doorlocks. I have 40.00 dollars into this right now. The switch is a rocker switch with up on top and dn on the bottom. The up opens the trunk and dn opens the seat works excellent. For more info email me.

This sounds awesome, spyder13!

However, if you check the posts here over the last eleven months, many of us will write "Ooo--Looky at my Spyder that I just put a new motorcycle cover on! Ain't it cool? It took 30 seconds to install..." and then we post photos from seven angles, plus a video. Or two videos.

You mod up all these iRobot/Star Wars automatic hood/seat opening/closing gizmos, and you write "For more info email me????!!"

You know we'd all love to see your handiwork!

Ok these are pictures of the switch and the seat actuator. The trunk actuator is mounted on the l side near the horn. The switch is a double throw. top of switch for trunk and bottom is for seat Key must be on to work and when shut off you have about 15 seconds to open trunk or seat before main relay shuts everything off. Still need to tie up a few loose ends for neatness but all is functioning very good.
