It's a bit tall... the OEM is 225/50-15
I've heard that some folks use a 215/60-15 with pretty good luck...

you will have a variation in the speed and distance readings. Speed you can check with gps. Depends on how important that is to you other wise should be fine..

Unless you have an overwhelming reason for the bigger tire, I wouldn't risk upsetting the nanny.. she is so picky....

My 215/60R15 Michelin HydroEdge has my speedometer within 1 mph of my GPS & often they show the same speed.

So I read on this board that the 60R is better for tracking of the bike MPH to GPS readings and since the standard tire is 225, that is why I went with the 225/60R/15

So my dealer is telling me that my 225/60r/15 rear tire is rubbing the rear fender - standard size is 225/50r/15 - I have not seen the bike has anyone put on the 225/60r/15 before - do I have to shim the rear fender up? or will this just not work?

225/60r/15 tire does not fit on the RS model - going back to 225/50/15 rear tire

I thought that it might be a bit tall for your application; I was keeping my fingers crossed that it would work...
