I had to give up riding in 1977, because of a problem in my left ear causing a balance problem. For 32 years I really missed not riding and selling my '65 BSA Lightening Rocket. I did think about a sidecar but wasn't turned on by them and hung up my helmet. Now I would go for a Royal Enfield or BMW with a sidecar, after seeing a collector riding his. Everyday I would see him riding a different bike and was looking at trikes when a friend told me about the test ride he took on a Spyder. I started checking them out online and about 6 months later I was at Pets Mart getting the dog his food and knew the dealership was about a mile away. I figured I would go look but like everything else I go to look at, I ended up buying and I haven't regretted it. I had my first ride in 1961 on the back of my brother's BMW and bought my first bike a 1948 BSA at a barn sale in CT in 1965 at the age of 15. I kept it at a friends house whose father was my metal shop teacher and he was thrilled in having a winter project to work on.

I ride today like I was that 16 year old kid and watching this video brought back many of those memories and thank you for that. I've been waiting for a good day for a ride and Tuesday looks like it could be. But the way the storms come up around here, who knows?:dontknow:

but you said it was time to take action and did. Beside its winter tine in NY your supposed to be hibernating. Don't old bears sleep good in the wintertime? Or did you get the lumpy place to sleep ?.:hun::yes::cheers:,roflmao
