thanks for all the complements, if you really knew me you would know i am the BULL IN THE CHINA SHOP and to be so careful with the parts was getting to me. the color is off just a touch but in the sun you don't see it. and roger i really don't know if or when BRP will come up with a fix and w/o doing something about it i could not ride the bike in warm weather. this whole project cost me just a lil over 2100.00 dollars with the parts, paint and having them painted. the painter said the paint from touch up direct was a good paint to work with. but he used his own clear because he liked the way it laid on the paint.

i bought enough paint for the floor boards they sell that should cut the heat even more and i will most likely buy a cat bypass and wrap the bypass and pipes when the warmer weather comes in. but only time and money will tell right now

The scoops look great. That should put a lot of air into the motor. I'm wonder if it going to change the handling of the bike. Will it create more downforce or will it give it lift?

:shocked::hun: This isn't NASCAR... it won't make a bit of noticeable difference in how the bike handles. :thumbup:
Hopefully; it'll make a BIG difference, in how it is to ride! :D

great job it look like they came from the factory that way. Not having other parts to compare I will take your word the color is a tad off. Looks good to me. Congrats will hang in there till you ryde again for a full report on the effect. I'm sure your problem is pretty much solved...:2thumbs:

Very,very nice.
I really have to admire the fact that you took it upon yourself to fix the problem instead of just complaining about it.
Yes BURP should fix it, but dang you deserve a round of applause.
:coffee::2thumbs::clap:

I'll echo Roger's thoughts and commend you on your efforts. As for the cost? I paid just about $1,700.00 for a Corbin seat, passenger backrest, armrests and a back rest for me. It was well worth it. It looks like your mod could be very well the same.
