I would suggest just getting a set, usually cheaper than buying 3-4 separate. Home depot has a set that is reasonable.

I think most of the main panels are T30. Some of the stuff around the dash area is T15. There may be an oddball or two around the bike as well.

Most of the bolts holding on the Tupperware are M6 torx head bolts. These use a T27 torx. Be careful not to order a torx plus bit.

This is incorrect. T30 Torx is the correct size.

Sears has nice bit sets, including the one with the "pin holes" needed for some panels. Mine use a handle like a screwdriver with changeable bits

DO NOT REMOVE THOSE TORAX SCREWS!!! Those are not needed for removal. They are simply to hold the pegs that insert into grommets. Again DO NOT REMOVE THE SAFETY SCREWS!

A agree with getting the set of torx bits. When I owned my 09 GS most of the bodywork was T30 with the odd screw needing T15 and T20. My ST is the same except they put in some 6mm Allen head. Really!!!! BRP whut's up with that. Torx, Allen both are fine pick one and go with it!!!

Sorry for my short rant. :D

Sorry, I have both bits. While a T30 can be jammed in to force the bolt to turn, it does not fit correctly and will bugger the fastener (bugger = technical term). Been using theses exact same fastners on my Ford GT for several years and the same debate happened on that forum for a while too. The correct bit for an M6 Torx Button Head Screw is T27.....Or what ever fits when you need to remove it.

Torax screws, where are they?

The 2 chrome ones with the safety pins on the left and right sides, around knee level.

I had a similar problem with a couple of these being loose; the bent-post ones I believe. My memory is I tightened them by tightening the nut on the inside-side of the side panel after I positioned them at the angle I wanted. I hope I'm remembering correctly.
