Today is a very sad day for me. I had to put my bike in storage until spring. :(. It snowed all day here, now it is hailing. Just cold and miserable.

They are just showing pictures on the news of the snow in the Midwestern US. Yuck. I'm glad I moved.

I got mine winterized late in the day Sunday. Good thing as now (11/12/13) there is 3/4 inch of snow on the ground and a cold 21 degrees F. Funny thing is the weather is forecast to reach 50 degrees F on this coming Saturday, but then again this is Ohio and our weather does this "roller coaster" thing frequently.

Going to hold off a little longer. We have about an inch of snow on the ground today, but it's supposed to be back up in the 50's by the weekend. I do need to make sure my snow blower is ready for duty though!

We can handle the cold in the Midwest but near Chicago area its the salt on the roads that kill a bike and chrome. Sill holding off a while myself. The leaves in the yard might kill me trying to get rid of them. HAVE A SAFE RIDE. Bob :banghead:

Sorry to hear it--but we knew it was coming. The eight inches of snow on Sunday ended my rydeing season also. Oh, well--only 140 more days to April 1st.:thumbup::yes::yes:

That's just the ball park start up. Could be a week or two earlier, or a week or two late. Just trying to keep the math simple.:thumbup:

Time to surf all bike related sites, put away the leather, and attend motorcycle shows. The countdown to Spring 2014 is on!:doorag:

We don't get much snow here in the Willamette Valley and we can ride this winter between rain days:yes:
everyone always asks us how we can deal with all the rain, and my answer is" we don't have to shovel it "
