I have thought for a while about buying a take off set of ST blade wheels and having them refinished in chrome for my RT. I have never been a fan of the 'black chrome' wheels on my RT-S. Before I head down that path, are there any aftermarket sources of wheels I should consider?

Also like the idea of a chrome rear wheel / sprocket that is being discussed in another thread, that may happen along with.

Get me some pics of this if you do this as i'm not a real big fan of the black wheels either. One question though, weren't the blade wheels 14 inch? My RT/S has 15's on it. I have done some searching and have never found any aftermarket wheels "ready to purchase" but they can be custom made.

The ST's wheels were 15"...
I'd love to have some of those wheels in chrome! :2thumbs:

I was referring to these wheels:

They are the same size as the RT wheel. I think full custom wheels are a bit past the budget limits.....

If I were going to purchase a used rear wheel and sprocket to take to the chrome shop, are they all the same for all Spyders other than color or do I need to limit my search to specific ones?

I'm pretty sure that the rear wheel is not model specific...
Oh! the ST's Front rims might just have a different offset to them...

You could always take your wheels off and have them chromed.

...If you dig the look of the Limited's wheels...

And be without my bike for 2 to 3 weeks?

Besides, not a fan of the spoke wheels on the RT-S or I would just get the chrome Limited version. Just not 'sporty' enough for my taste. May end up getting my rear wheel done but if I can find inexpensive used ones and then sell mine later would be worth the trouble.

Have you looked at some of the wheels that are available this year? :2thumbs:

All 2013 wheels fit all 2013 models. At least that is what accessories catalog says.

There are only 2 for 2013. The spoke wheel on the RT and the blade wheel on the ST.

Lots of pics of lots of wheels and bikes that have nothing to do with my 2013 RT. Not interested in dropping the fenders and installing a pair of 35" monsters with rubber bands on them. Suppose I should have been more specific, something close to stock size that fits the bike. Guess there are no aftermarket options other than full custom designs made one off. $5k a wheel is not what I have in mind. Looking for off the shelf offerings to order.

I did do a google search and searched this site as well, just was asking in case I missed something.

Yese; they will ALL fit on the hub; you might need to work out some spacers to get the fenders back over the wheeld... nojoke
