With pictures and videos!
That new color, "Cognac" is proving tough to describe consistently...
If you've got a picture or video of an RT dressed up in it; please post it in here.
I'd like to get as many of the different pictures in one place, so that a comparison can be made.
It seems that this color really changes it's appearance under differing lighting conditions...
THANKS!! :thumbup::D

Bob, your monitor colors could be skewed as well, so don't give total confidence in what you see on your PC.

It's a gorgeous color!! The thing that will steer me away from it will be it's probable over use.. I will make my decision after I ride one next month.. The color looks exactly like Brazen Orange,, used on the 2006 GTO that had lots of gold / orange pearl in the formula.. It looks like burnt orange until any bright light hits it and then it TAKES OFF!!!

While I think the Cognac color is nice it would require that I purchase an entirely new closet of riding clothes. That is why I am going with white as it goes with everything. The yellow was a color that I didn't like when I saw it in pictures but I really liked it in person.

hang in there all the pic's in the world will not compare to having it in your garage and seeing it with your own eyes...try pouring a few cognac's, holding them up to the light then drink them and relax...!! :roflblack:

If I drink that much cognac; it's lights out! :D
Ann,
The Missus has already said that what we've got; is what we'll be wearing!

I would agree. The Yellow looked entirely different in person than photos. Much deeper and better looking in person. I'm betting the Cognac will be the same way.

I'm an experimental color engineer and the color samples that we've seen are accurate / Burnt Orange / straight light / overcast.. Bright pearl orange gold in the sun or artificial bright light.. Like many,, you will make up your mind when it's sitting in front of you.. I'm pretty sure if I get a 14 I will lean towards yellow cause you won't be able to swing a dead cat without hitting a Congnac Spyder :)

I also would like to see one in person to determine if it is what I would like.

Metallic Butterscotch
That's got my vote.
Or, just call it Courvoisier. Ideally in your best imitation "Ladies Man" voice from SNL. :joke:

I've got a deposit on a cognac 2014, but I'll probably end up getting either a white or black one. OTOH, who knows how I'll react after I actually see it...

With the bit of black on the front, it looks like it is a prime candidate for black racing stripes!!!:ohyea:
