My friends GL1500 trike burned to the ground today. Maybe I can talk him into a Spyder.

He was warming it up before riding to the hospital for a cancer treatment/checkup. Luckily it was in the driveway and he wasn't riding it.

There were reports of rear brakes causing some problems... :dontknow:
Sorry that you had to post about it; a friend losing their bike, is almost as bad as losing your own :shocked:

I have a few friends that ride a GW. I'll be talking to them about this. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident. Wonder if they know about the reports of the rear brakes. But didn't someone say that he was just warming it up in the driveway? Brakes shouldn't have been warm from that!?!?:dontknow:

being a cancer survivor from prostate cancer i feel bad now i wouldn't wish that on anyone

Sorry for his loss but the main thing he was not injured or worse! The bike can be replaced life cannot!
