Is the 2014 front axle longer/wider than that for the 2012,2013 models- or does it just look that way because of the different front end treatment?

The body is wider but the distance from wheel to wheel I believe is the same .

Does it still have the fly by wire throttle? I stopped a video showing the new 2014RTS and it had a throttle cable.
