It's that time of year again to get fired up about the winter riding season.

Here is a video with some nice vintage sleds. I love those old Arctic Cats with the cat skin seats. I didn't see my first sled in here ('70 ski-doo Olympic), but there is a '69 Olympic, close enough.
I also had a '73 ski-doo 440 Silver Bullet I sold in 1996. I wish I still had that sled. It was in mint condition when I sold it.

i'm still looking to buy a 1969 or 1970 skidoo (my first ride) that is in mint condition or that has been restored just for memories sake and days like shown in the video. currently riding renegade 600 e-tec, but sometimes would just like to kick back and remember the golden days! thanks for the post!!!

Vintage sled show in Fulton, NY in Feb. '14. The club is starting to work on it. Went to Wheel-a-Way on the RT the other day, brought home a new set of carbides for the Yamaha!

The video brings back memories also. Never got invested in snowmobiles--even though I lived in Minnesota during the 60's. My sons had a used Evinrude and a Boa Ski. By the time they bought them, they were well used and needed repairs almost every time they were ridden. I was into my first motorcycles in those days--so that's where my money went.

That's how things went all those years' ago; ride them all weekend, and repair them all week! :2thumbs: nojoke
