Rear foot pegs adapter don't fit

I purchased kury adapter 8822 for my rear pegs as stated in the forum, and i can't seem to get them to work. the spring is to big for the adapter. Could someone Please help me.

Yes, the adapter fits in the slot with plenty of room to spare, and the pin lines up. There is a spring that is suppose to fit in the other hole but it is to big. its kind of hard to explain it.
