But is softening up a bit...
Question: BRP's Blutooth dongle thingie has me thinking...
If I've got a perfectly good set of ScalaRider intercoms (Teamset Pros); could they be linked up to the stereo and GPS through that little gizmo?:dontknow:
(And I'm not making any jokes about the dongle; I gon't want to get swatted on the nose with the "Ban rolled-up newspaper!)

The Sena BT Dongle should work with any BT headset no matter the brand. This is because there is a BT standard all devices need to adhere to. (Your results may vary) Now communicating from headset to headset uses a different technology and different brands will not talk to each other. They each use their own technology.

I'm not sure how the dongle works with the early Scala sets. I have the G9s and had to updaye the firmware to get them to work. I am still having issues with getting them to work consistantly. It's getting them to link to both the phone and the entertainment system output. You shouldn't have any problem with one or the other. I called Cardo (Scala) and talked with the tech when I needed help. Try giving them a call.

Thanks for the link!
I've got to admit that I had never even given a thought to the Dongle with my old bike. I knew that it wouldn't work on a 2010, so I ginored it.
Now, I've got some catching up to do! ;)

She prefers, "Office Manager"...
I don't understand the hierarchy around here...
I'm the Presidnet; I sign checks; make underwriting decisions, and walk the dog...
If I ask her to do something; she tells me where to go!
I guess that means that she's the Navigator; right? :dontknow:

Common Bob... you have to have your farkles! Just go on more Spyder trips and come back with more!
"Honey, look at what ______ gave me!" or "I'm a tester for ______!"

I doubt they will work. I have teamset pro as well as they don't support AD2P. So no music or GPS--I've tried. The new version of the teamset pro (called something else now) that is now available does support AD2P so would probably work.

Sorry Bob: can't help you on the info about which unit will work with the dongle thingy. I am just into basic communication and never went for the advanced stuff.
