Ski-Doos are known as Snowmobiles, sleds , Moto-neige (in Canada) etc.
Sea-Doos are PWC or Jet skis etc.
Since Bombardier invented both of those and has now given us the Spyder, maybe we should think about the future moniker(s) of the :spyder:
I fondly call mine a "Roadmobile", because it's ride and nimble handling so closely matches that of my snowmobiles.

I tell everyone it is my crotch rocket and as soon as I learn to ride the dealer is going to take the training wheels off, in the mean time there is no chance of falling over in front of the girls at a stop light.

I call my "Roadmobile" the WldSpydr known as "Fang." Better than any thrill ride at any amusement park - even if its just ryding it to the store for a carton of milk. :2thumbs:

Well they do call it a roadster...Trirod is taken although I think it would be a good name for this class of machine. Maybe Y-rod or Spy-rod?

Crazy huh...less features, less body work...3 times the price. I wonder how soon until the naked spyders with the hacked chips start popping up?
