Trying to get rid of the harmonic vibration at a certain RPM range. Is anyone using a belt tensioner? Do we have a vendor that sells one? I thought Spyerpops had one but I don't see it on the web site..

2013 Rt and St should not need the tensioner. BRP changed some components in the rear axel and drive sprocket to allow a much higher belt tension. I have not noticed any belt flap at speeds up to about 85.

At my 600mi service the tech said he does not use the 1050n he does not believe BRP has done anything to make it advisable 500n + or- 100. Just reporting what Velocity in Charleston says.

Have the Baker Built and installation is a breeze with no cutting of anything. The best part is the difference was very noticeable on how well it worked once I got to 70 MPH. Amazing that that lil thing can make that much of a difference

I really thought my RT was running pretty smooth with maybe a slight hint of belt vibration around 5200 RPM. I installed the Baker Air Wing belt tensioner and couldn't believe what a difference it made. It is now so much smoother across the entire RPM band.

Got the Baker built belt stabilizer installed. Great add. The harmonic vibration is gone. As a matter of fact everything is much smoother. To me this made a huge improvement, almost like installing Baja Ron's sway bar!

I just installed the Smooth Spyder tensioner on my 2012 Rt s. Talk about the wow factor, what a difference. When adjusting the belt tension I adjusted the belt alignment, it was running too close to the inside rib so I moved the right side more than the left. It now has the right clearance, and I got rid of the slight left drift I was experiencing.
It is so much more enjoyable to ride on the freeway. I love my Spyder.

Is this just an issue on the RTs?
