I did the 1" riser install today. First thing I want to mention is that the 6 bolts that hold the steering cover on require 2 different sockets. The top most 4 use an 8mm socket and the bottom 2 use a 10mm socket. The bottom 2 are hard to see and hard to get at and you cannot see that they are am different size than the other 4. The other thing is that a Harmonic Balancer puller works real well with the stock bar clamp bolts to pull the stock riser off the steering stem. Hope this helps - if I had known about the different size bolt heads I could have saved a lot of frustration.:thumbup:
