About to pick up a new ST-S and was wondering if there is a source for 3M protective film for the lower nose area like they have for most cars these days. That lower painted nose area looks vulnerable. Any pre-cut kits available?

Another spyderlover member mention this; but, I'm not sure if he tried it yet:

Pete put a clear plastic on my ST....don't think it was 3M.

Aha, that looks like it might be a good option, just mask off the areas I want protected and no problem with the film wrinkling on the compound curves. Anyone tried this?

I think I'll try this 3M spray on my 2013 ST-L bags...had film...but peeling in a few places and dirt underneath...the bags are made not to be wrapped....funny corner and angles

auto parts stores carry some, the suggestions above give you pre-cuts and I have seen bras as well. Here we have been ryding for a year and have no problem and have found no need for that type of protection. Just check for there are those that sun burn and are really hard to get off....
