Mainly just daydreaming that perhaps I'd like a new RT but wouldn't want a '13 and would bet some $$$ that the '14's will be essentially the same, so that's what made me think about the '12's.

As the good book says. Seek and ye shall find.

Give the dealer in Wasilla, AK a try.

Just down the road from you in Abelmarle, NC is RPM Cycles. I was there a couple of weeks ago and they had a couple of 12's left. Give them a call, I am sure they can either help you or guide you to someone.

You might even be able to find a 2011; but the 2012s are probably the better bike! :2thumbs:
Time to break out your hiking boots and binoculars to do some hunting!

My 2012 performs flawlessly, no problems whatsoever, to date anyway! Highly recommend one. I bought mine at RPM cycle in Albemarle. Got a decent price. No regrets. I've never heard from them since I purchased, customer follow up is non-existent but there are other dealers nearer to me anyway. Getcha one, you'll be glad you did

We should know what the 2014 bike will be Sumday night. The 15th is the dealers meeting where BRP shows them the bikes.

I'm from Minnesota and as of a few weeks ago there were a few around here yet. It seems with some of the issues the 2013's had that they are still asking a premium price for the 2012's. I bought my 2012 rts-se5 about this time last year for under $20,000. The prices this year are still about what Orange Monster said they were in texas. I added a few of the more common after market items to mine, Ron's anti sway bar, web boards, cal sci windshield and am very happy with the machine now. I'm heading towards 9,000 trouble free miles.

my buddy has a 2012 rt with audio package. he bought it for his wife and she's scared of it. never really gave it a chance. they have taken a few rides on it, but I think there is less than 1500 miles on it. like new! I think he's asking 18,000 but not sure. if your interested, pm me with your number and i'll have him give you a call!

Any dealer that is trying to charge a premium price on a close out 2012 is a rip off artist. The excuse about the 2013's is BRP's fault, not the customers. I would run, run, run, from that establishment.
