View Full Version : backrest/luggage rack issue solved

my hubby has figured out a way to use the backrest and luggage rack at the same time. he made a few extra "pieces" to attach it to the backrest and the only thing you have to do is drill 2 holes in the luggage rack. you can still use them both as they were originally designed. you can still adjust the backrest, you can still get into the "huge" compartment under the back rest and you can still use the luggage rack without the backrest. i know you are going to be asking for pictures, i just sent them to lamonster and he'll get them on here for me....thank you lamonster you are the webmaster for sure!:clap: love my hubby! i knew i married him for a reason-he makes me things!!!

Nice design, spyderwoman's hubby!

(I also like the web in the backrest opening.)

I myself was feeling bad about the "waste inventory" I'm accumulating:

stock exhaust, stock windshield, and that luggage rack lid for starters.

Hmmm...your hubby's design's got me a-contemplating...
