So did nascar get it rite?? Should Bowyer still be in the chase??? I don't think so....

That is a tuff one to answer. Truex and his crew chief did nothing wrong but are now out of the chase but Bowyer and his crew chief are not really affected. Newman is in and that is good given that he had the lead prior to the caution but Gordon is out. So not all the wrongs have been fixed. Of the drivers involved, I'm not really partial to any one of them getting in the chase or not.

It's a tough call because the chief put everybody in an untenable situation...
I'm a Jeff Gordon fan; but I'm not sure that I'd want him getting in on a penalty call by NASCAR... He actually put himself in the relatively poor positon he was in, by how he raced in the previous 25 outings... :gaah:
Michael Waltrip said that he wouldn't fight the ruling; they got caught, and he knew it...

Damn it looks like I missed a good one and I didn't even record it.

The NASCAR schedule gets a bit "wonky" this time of year; they try to have more action on Saturday nights. I think that they don't want to get caught in a shooting war with the NFL over viewers!

He's had quite a recent run of tough luck...
I don't root for him; but he's normally a guy who finds a way to get to the front!

Glad Newman got back in, think Bowyer should have been penalized chase points rather than regular points.

JR. in, Danica is out...... couldn't be better. :yikes: I thought someone made predictions at the beginning of the year for her. I think he got all of them right but the boyfriend split. Even that was tense at times......

OK, I have to get back to work now...... :roflblack::roflblack:

JR. in, Danica is out.

Danica is finding out, just as Montoya has, that NASCAR racing is a lot different than open wheel racing. I think both of them figured they could step from open wheel to NASCAR and be immediately successful. Both have discovered that NASCAR is a lot more difficult than it appears.

...And as much as I hate to admit it; Montoya is actually learning how to race!

Okay! I have to admit I missed what happened. Will anyone give a quick summary? Thanks.

 Ummmm...
Bowyer spun out, and Vickers pitted; in order to move Truex up far enough to qualify for the chase... :gaah:

I just saw that NASCAR is now investigating communications between Logano and Gilliland. More shakeups coming.
