raising the seat on an RT

Does anyont know how to raise the seat on an RT without the key? I had tri-axis bars installed last Friday and now the seat latch release doesn't work. The bike turns on just fine, but I only have about an eighth of a tank. I don't think it will get me to Pitbull! PROBLEM FIXED!

The seat catch is on the RH side and up front; have you tried getting something up underneath it to tickle it a bit? :dontknow:

applying pressure while turning the key to the seat release side, some pushing and pulling while turning the key have been successful tactics. If in doubt try turning the key in both directions while pressing the key in. If you've done all this. ..:dontknow:
