Has anyone removed rear trunk from RT? Just wondered what my 2013 RT would look like without it.
Also wondering how hard it would be to do.

Thanks in advance

Probably would look like a funny looking RS. I'm sure there's a pix around here somewhere with all the plastic removed. Sometimes I feel like taking it off so I can turn it upside down and shake out whats hiding in the bottom.:p

Not sure but I think there's a sequence to removing the panels, front to back. If so, the trunk would be the last to be removed. Too much work.

There is a post with pictures here on SL showing full tear down of the rear trunk. The guy was installing the CB/Entertainment cable and the XM radio which required the rear trunk section to be removed. IT IS NOT for the faint of heart to do it!

The bodywork is just too integrated to allow that to happen...

Milwaukee Sawzall... If it can't be removed by one of these; it's only because it was never there to begin with! nojoke

those others are nice ideas but the chainsaw is much more fun and somewhat more precise. The trunk of the bike has all of the lights running through it, so taking it off would be less then advisable.
