Electric Bike

Saw this at Bessinger's monthly car, truck and bike show tonight. Will do 100mph and go about 100 miles on a charge. Uses lithium batteries.750997510075098 Made by E-V Concepts. Neat looking but also looks VERY uncomfortable!!!

red! I'm interested in EVs, but man, that one's styling is something else. Like a regular sport bike with too many PSI everywhere!

During the fuel embargoes in the 70's i had a fully electric plug in bike.
Worked well till you made a ''U'' turn, The extension cord would always get tangled in the,
Rear sprocket...:yikes:

I think that it could use another pass through the "styling and appearance" portion of the build...

Had an electric scooter which worked well until the batteries died. Could not get replacement batteries anywhere. Replaced it with a Honda Metropolitan 50cc scooter which is fun and fuel efficient 137 mpg. Batteries in EVs are always going to be problematic.

I don't think that electric vehicles will ultimately prove to be the next big thing (Powerplant capacity...), but it's at least a decent stop-gap measure along the way to energy independence!

Natural gas is the way to go, We have so much in this county we wouldn't have have to buy any oil from those crazys in the Mid East, Then they won't have the means $$$ to supply the ultra crazys over there with weapons...
