As Spyder owners we are used to getting all the looks, so you can imagine the look on my face when one of these pulled up next to me at a stop sign.

I had to do a double take, this was on a back road and the guy just waved. This thing is smaller than the spyder. How fun to see the different vehicles making their way to the road.

By the way here is the link if you want to know what this is http://www.wsav.com/midatlantic/sav/news/health.apx.-content-articles-SAV-2008-06-12-0016.html

I'm not sure and I would have to see them side by side but I think the Corbin has a little bit wider front end than the NMG. Also the NMG is made in Ohio and that would be an easier import to MI than the Corbin made in CA. But I didn't get to look at it for that long so I could be wrong.

From Wikipedia::read:
The Corbin Sparrow is a single-passenger, three-wheeled (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_wheeler), battery electric vehicle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battery_electric_vehicle) designed specifically for commuting (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commuting) and city driving. It was initially produced by Corbin Motors and now by Myers Motors.

Well, that clears that up and explains it, I guess it is the same vehicle. Like I said, I didn't get to look at it all that long, but it was kind of cute. Thank you for the info.

It's basically the same vehicle. Corbin Motors (who made the sparrow) went bankrupt back in 2003. Then Myer Motors took the vehicle and created the NMG (No More Gas) vehicle. You can see it here:

We talk about all of this stuff at our club site. We are always discussing alternative vehicles, and anything new that is coming out.

Anyway, it's pretty interesting.
