August trip

I will be adding details under the Oregon section, but of general interest, we traveled 2,486 miles - 36 to 116F, 25 to 80 mph (legal/posted speeds), lots of twisties, and few stretches of freeway/superslab, and my RTS SE5 averaged 31.5 mpg (27 to 35), while the RT/AC SM5 averaged 37mpg.73966 What many in the East may not understand about the West, is the vast spaces we travel - even between small towns. Large towns are generally hundreds of miles apart. EVs will never play a role in these (our) area….

OK; The recap is finished, under Oregon/2013 trip. I'd appreciate feedback BTW, I used 1.25 quarts of oil on this trip. The RT/AC SM5 didn't use a drop, and averaged 37mpg.
