That really sucks! I just received my set of new RIVCO RT floorboards that Cara at RIVCO offered as a special pre-release. The only problem is I paid $414.61 for the boards delivered direct from RIVCO !

Buyer Beware!

I will not be buying from them again!!!! Just not right for a Sponsor to treat us this way !

You have to understand that they sell at list price and they try not to undercut their dealers. They sell direct and through a dealer network.
They are really good people there at Rivco. We have known Rich the owner for close to 20 years and he is one of the best guys ever. He has really good quality items that we have sold and tried on numerous bikes of our own.
thanks,
Rick

If that's the case it seems they should announce their products on SL then tell you to buy them from one of their distributors. Just a thought...

I just asked Cara to meet their price and she agreed. Someone made a mistake and she corrected it immediately. No complaints here !

I would just like to post regarding this matter.

RIVCO PRODUCTS is a manufacturer. However, we also sell to the public. We have a variety of customers from all over the world who order straight from us as opposed to ordering from dealers due to convenience. When the CA020-WO-RT were advertised on this forum board, they were posted at our retail pricing for our company. Our price is and will remain at $399.99. Our dealers are offered our products at a set price and they are able to set pricing at their discretion within our guidelines. I apologize if there was confusion.

There was also a post that was deleted that stated I was being "sneaky" by posting the release of our product and having a dealer post a few days later advertising their discounted rate. Again, it is at the dealers discretion for their pricing within our guidelines.

This was also not a "pre-release," it was our first production run. This is a website full of spyder enthusiasts so what better way to advertise our new release than for you guys to be the first to know!?

I spoke to cjackg after arriving back in the office wednesday morning and he was credited the difference back to his card as well as a refund for shipping charges.

I hope this clears up a majority of the confusion. If there are any further questions please do not hesitate to email me a cjanikowski@rivcoproducts.com

Thank you :D
