My other passion is working on what I ride. I like that almost as much as I like riding and some would say I have a real obsession with modifying my rides to the point of no return. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said “this is my last mod”.

That doesn't sound like you at all Lamonster.... :joke: ;D :spyder:

:congrats: Well done!!! Folks, he speaks like a writer, can work on anything mechanical, makes a computer behave, and runs his own Web forum. He is the amazing Lamonster. Let's hear it for him. Oh yeah, he rides like the devil, too.

Lamonster, you are the man! Congrats again, nice piece.

Lamont, when you are out in San Diego it would be great to get together with some of us SoCal Spyder ryders and do a ride. Another option would be to ride out to my desert cabin, in eastern San Diego County, and do an Anza-Borrego desert highway ride together. Wide open spaces! That would be a change of pace from your usual stomping, opps, I mean riding grounds. Also, if you did that you could try my TWTrike on some desert dirt. It's as fun on the dirt as the Spyder is on the pavement.

Oh, oh, don't tell Can Am but my Spyder has touched some of the more mellow desert dirt also.

Just yesterday (Friday) I told my girlfriend I'm done adding/changing things. BTW, we're on our way to the dealer this morning. :doorag:

:congrats:Well done Lamont!! I'm happy you won the $1,000! Now with all your pull at BRP could you get them to add a passenger peg lowering kit to their accessories line? My wife has long legs and I need to keep her happy. Sounds like you have another great trip planned out to the West coast. Keep us all posted as I know we all love to read about your adventures.

Lamont, I don't know how you do it! It's amazing that you've been blessed with so many talents as mentioned by others in this thread. I'm just glad that you decided to get in on the CanAm Spyder. The contribution that you have made to Spyder owners and potential Spyder owners is enormous. I have been helped a great deal by this forum, and it's made my wait a lot more bearable. :congrats: CONGRATULATIONS ON THE WRITE-UP!

Lamonster,

Your Blog on SpyderRider is truly a story depicting a true motorcycle affecianado (spelling?) :congrats:
And not only your motorcycle talents, but administrating this website. I just want to say, don't change a thing. Keep testing, modifying and sharing. The same for everyone else.

In case everyone wants to know, that's me on the blog beforehand (Kenneth Wier and my wife Carla).

I really have learned so much about the Spyder and motorcycles in general from this forum. I feel invited and anxious to visit everyday. Sorry that the "Mole" thread brought to the surface some feelings. :-[ I'm a pharmacist by profession. When someone comes in and asks to treat a "sore/boil"; I always recommend that they bring it to a head. A little onintment sometimes helps. Well the sore is lanced and we're on to recovery.

Come on SpyderTeam and BRP.... bring on those red ones and SE5's so that alot more of us can start telling you how great a product you've created and Spyderlovers.com can continue to be the best forum for Spyder owners to rant, rave, inform, and create on a great new riding machine.

The trailer is a real sticking point for BRP. You won't see any pics I submit with a trailer in it because they can't look like they endorse the use of a trailer with the Spyder. I kinda see their point but it's too bad that they have to walk such a fine line. ::)
