Oh no, you cut your plastic :yikes: Besides according to tradition you put it too high up.

Because my bell was a gift it has very high joo-joo so I decided a little high would be ok :)

Too many people said the lost theirs when mounted on the mud flap and I want to retain my special gift! So it was a trade off.

Glad you like it finless Bob, when I saw
they had a BlackWidow Spider, I knew
it was meant for you. This is a very
special Bell in that it can be mounted
from the middle of the bike down and
provide you All the protection you need.

I received my first Bell from BlueStar  but
it was lost fighting off gremlins on my way back
from Springfield MO.http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e240/TicketBait/smileys/sad.gifI had mine mounted
just below my seal floorboards on an existing
Kewl metal bracket. It protected me for quite
a while, I just received my new Bell today from
Flamingobabe and hotglue http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e240/TicketBait/Spyder%202013/th_IMG_2829.jpg (http://s40.photobucket.com/user/TicketBait/media/Spyder%202013/IMG_2829.jpg.html)

Thanks so much Char and Mark :2thumbs:

Placed mine on front(low) by shock with two ty wraps and seems to be doing fine. I hear the Gremlin's hang out low so I want to get them before they get up to any mischief. However, that does look nice on back of your bike, you can catch them as they fly by..hehehe:sour:

Only way they work is if it is a gift to you, or they don't have that special "joo-joo" :roflblack::roflblack:

I was only kidding you about where you put your bell, as it is your bike/your choice. I know of others that keep their bell up high for the same reasons. Don't want to loose it.

I also like your vids. My bell is engraved brass that my late mom had in the house. My bro also wanted it but he already had a bell, so he gave it to me. i hung it from the left handlebar near the shifter. So i think of Mom when I hear it. no gremlin attacks so far.

You have yours mounted too high. It's supposed to be mounted close to the ground, lower than any point on the bike. I have two of them zip tied to my front shock mounts, and one under each floorboard attached to eyebolts that I installed. People keep giving me Angel Bells, and I have to keep finding places to hang them.

We have ours mounted on the left handlebar near the shifter paddle. The second one's are mounted hanging from the A-frame bar in the front.

One to show, and one to go. All gifted so they have the proper power.

 It's only a legend. You can put it wherever you like, if you believe in it, it works just the same I guess.

Is high according to legend but there are as many variations of the legend...I like to see mine in action...:roflblack:
