Crossing your eyes has that effect. Oh, Oh I'm wrong; I just blocked one eye and it still distorted.

Instant caricatures! Lol that's one of the ways I was taught to do caricatures, that and squinting your eyes, very cool!

I have such disparate image sizes due to the lousy eyeballs, that I was SURE that it wouldn't work... But it did!

Left eyeball: 20/360
the right: 20/70

morphing because your periphial vision only picks some of each photo left and right and your brain joins them. Like mono-vision where one eye sees distant the other sees close up and your brain mixes for your mid range. Doesn't work for all...

The brain games TV program had a similar thing on the subject not to long ago. The explaination above sounds like what they were saying.
