The SM5 is a manual shift with a clutch and the SE5 is an automatic thumb, paddle type shift with no clutch. This of course is the non-technical answer. I am sure someone will come on and give you the very specifics of each and use all the correct terminology. LOL

SM5 = Sequential Manual-shift 5-speed
SE5 = Sequential Electronic-shift 5-speed
...or I could have just made that up!
What Deb said...
