Hi pamopfl,

You can go to sealfloorboards.com to see floorboards for your 2008 GS It's the same as the RS. I had a 2009 RS SM5 and designed the Seal Floorboards for it originally. I also offer the RS SM5 (manuel version). Hope this helps.

Ride in comfort,

i made my own. not terribly hard to do, and cheap. 40-50 bucks. arntufun doesn't like windshields or floorboards. he DOES like to crawl around on the floor doing mods.:roflblack::joke::roflblack:.

I have the Rivco floorboards and highway pegs. Use the floorboards 95% of the time. Would never go back to just foot pegs. It's so great riding with your feet and legs in a comfortable position. Highly recommend the Rivco's for the GS/RS.

I like the rivco boards. Drops your feet and still has sport pegs. Good anti-vibration rubber mounts.

Just want to throw this out there...

Many people don't know this but the RIVCO CA020-WO will allow any aftermarket or Harley-Davidson board that are made to fit the FLH.

Some of these Spyders would look great with Diamond plate boards, Flames boards, Skulls and the list goes on!

Private message me or email me at cjanikowski@rivcoproducts.com with any questions!

Just wanted to say :welcome: to the party. I have seal floorboards on both my RT's--but that is not what you asked for in pictures. I see a few are begining to post--so you should end up with a variety of options before you decide.

I won't post pics here because you have to reduce them and then IMO they don't show very well. If you want to PM your e-mail, I'll take a few pics.

the FOOT REST & FOOT PEGS are all DIY... for the FOOT PEGS, i purchased a set of OEM Rear Pegs ($130) from my SPYD3R dealer and i fabricated a frame that mounts to the chassic. i was able to maintain my Front Foot Pergs while adding the FOOT REST, giving me 3 positions for my feet, which also moved my butt when relocating my feet, causing less 'butt wear'... for a more comfortable long rides....

Thanks!

I found the default footpeg position on the RS a little high as I have dodgy knees (previous motorbike incident). I had Rivco footboards installed dropping the knee position down by 3 inches, whilst giving room to move feet back and forth if necessary.

Of all my mods this is the one I couldn't do without.

Hope I am not stepping on toes here but, do you have plans that you would sell? This looks very nice and I am somewhat of a tinkerer. This is exactly what I was thinking about rather than buy the floor boards. I was considering all the ways to fab them and this is right in line with what I was planning. Great job SPYD3R!!

Just guess here but looks like you have to "shave" the original pedal off the lever assembly to install the ISCI extension and possibly drill one hole? I'm new to Spyders and love my 2008 GS "Ole Yeller" but looking to upgrade some things and these floorboards and brake extension seem to be the start as I have some terrible knees from years of misuse.
