Hi all,

I gather that Can Am uses combo bulbs for running and brakes in the States.
I noticed today that the running light filament seems to be a goner in the left side bulb but brake light filament is still just dandy.
What bulb does a 2010 RSS use for the brake/running light?
I recall but failed to find a video that shows the journey one must undertake to replace these.
If it is indeed a journey what is the consensus on LED replacements and does anyone know where the video or thread with instructions might be located now? :dontknow:

Thanks MMs!

A plain LED replacement will cause the Spyder to go into limp mode, sensing burned out bulbs. LED replacements with load compensators have been tried with varying success. Most fail within a short while, and cause limp mode when they do.

Above is a comparison of ALL the bulbs you can use- 1157 or 2057 or 2357. 1157 Brake element lasts the longest but I use 2357 because the Brake element is Brighter than the others but the brake element is only rated 400 hours.
The chart says it ALL!nojoke

you have the bulb #'s and a well informed opinion on the led's as to replacing them not to difficult unless you have the back rest from brp. Then it's a bit tougher...there is a mod to get better access to the bulbs (check threads)...good luck..!!
