Are there any after market vented windshields out there for the RTs? Thanks.

F4 Customs was in the process of making one when I contacted them a few months ago.

Any reason why you're not looking at BRP's offerings?
Or are you? ;)

BRP vented windshield is comes in 23" to 25". It can be open or closed at any time. Mine is open because it reduces wind buffering.

I have a 23" BRP. It really is great. Buffiting is reduced and no vacum to suck in dirt. I can open or close the vent or any setting inbetween.

I use the BRP 23" vented for summer and the stock windshield for winter.

I bought a used Gold Wing vent to install on mine, but chickened out on cutting the opening. Afraid I would screw it up and then have to buy a new WS. If any of you are bold enough to try, I'll make you a deal. :)

Just bought a 23 inch BRP vented one yesterday. The vent is roughly 1/2 again larger than the Goldwing vent and seems to be an excellant solution. I've used a Goldwing vent on my Harley Road Glide and it was OK and I was going to put it on my RT until I took a good look at the BRP solution. A little expensive, but combined with some adjustable wings, it has really made the RT more comfortable.

Installed a goldwing vent on my stock windshield yesterday. I'll try it out today. The install wasn't difficult, but I was aprehensive of making the first cut. I also shortened the windshield by 2".

Did you get a vent for the 1500 or 1800?

Tinted or clear?....Do you still have it? If so, how much?
