I am wondering if anyone knows how to get a google map route (such as the ones posted by BRP for owners event) into the Garmin? I am really attempting to keep from throwing the computer to the ground for not cooperating. My IT guy gets really red in the face when I do that (I know from actual experience). I have planned the 209 route from Maggie Valley to Lamont's place in the Garmin but I do not want to go through that again for all of the rides. Please help!

Download an app called Tyre. With that, you can go into Google maps, save the .kml file, then open it in Tyre.

Tyre can either output it directly to the Garmin, or can save waypoints that you can upload to your GPS.

I have set up a drop box for those who would like to download the garmin route via 209 to Lamont's place.

You can also go here....http://rideplanner.harley-davidson.com/rideplanner/ridePlanner.jsp

Plan just like Google maps and downloads easily to Garmin.

Costs nothing to register.

I use the HD ride planner as well because it is so easy to put in and transfer waypoints. Here is a link to instructions from
Garmin using google maps. http://my.garmin.com/locate/google-sendtoGPSHelp.htm
