Wow!!! what can I say.....thanks to all who took time out of their lives to come and spend some time with us....we had an X-Large time....Friday about 19 of us went to eat German food just down the road from us...good food...good company..... http://kingsbiergarten.com/ Saturday am Rick and Bonnie lead, about 23 bikes down to Blue Water Hwy http://www.allgetaways.com/view_destination.asp?destinationid=XFA128-023 into Galveston and back...thru out the day people were arriving....the bike ride returns and we eat BBQ about 4pm....I do believe everyone got enough to eat.....looked like a bad storm headed this way...so most took off to beat the rain...the few who stayed...we sat and had a wonderful time...a few adult beverages...conversations and lies were told...good time....Sunday morning riders started arriving and hotglue and I fixed breakfast tacos ...then it was off to Texas San Jacinto Monument.... http://www.sanjacinto-museum.org/ history of how Texas won their independence....lunch at Monument Inn...they seated us... took orders... brought food and gave separate check in a timely fashion....we were all impressed...then the Lynchburg Ferry ride http://www.historicalcommission.hctx.net/lynchburgferry.aspx and over the Fred Hartman Suspension Bridge http://www.texasexplorer.com/hartmanbridge.htm and back to the house....thank you all for coming and sharing time with hotglue and I....we'll do it again next year Memorial Weekend May 23-26, 2014 enjoy the video

What a great time.

FB and HG really know how to throw a party.

Thank you both for all the hard work, good food, and a great time with friends, old and new.

The "man behind the menu" wants to thank you too.

fb/hg, we had another great time at your place you always out do yourself with that :bbq::firstplace:the brisket and chicken just melted in my mouth,we will be back again next year for the gathering of the spyders 3 we need flags i think. this will continue like spyderfest does every year. it was funny when one the new ryders asked where are all the vendors going to be set-up.:roflblack: and i don't think he was joking but we all got a good laugh at it, spyderlady linda was still in spyderfest mode as she started to direct spyder traffic for parking, next time we get here wands:roflblack: seriously..it was great to meet alot of different people that i had'nt met before so many names and faces to remember.to all that comes next year wear a name badge keep the one you get from spyderfest. i guess fb could make badges and get welcome bags for all arrivals in her spare time (just kidding fb).you guys worked very hard for this and we thank you very much.

Thanks for posting. Looks like a blast. Really wanted and tried to make the trip down, but dang, work and life got in the way. And to make it even more of a kick in the pants, the whole weekend was clouds, rain and storms here on the prairie. :(
