Anybody have experience with the Formosa full cover for the RT? Thanks!

Yes, I have a Formosa cover for my 2010 RT. It works well but of course does not cover both of the front wheels. Otherwise it fits nicely, although not as snugly as a cover designed specifically for the RT presumably would. At the very low price these cost it would be difficult to go very far wrong.

Just received the Ultraguard cover for the RT. Very nice, fits over everything. Little tight getting the long antenna through the Velcro flap but that will change when I put on a stubby antenna later this week.

Thats good to know. I was looking at them on amazon in cranberry color I think but was skeptical about how soft the inside is also Are you using a cover over windshield before u put this cover on? If not I would recommend it to keep windshield from getting hazey

Nelson Rigg makes some of the best spyder full and half covers.... nice fit and quality at reasonable prices

I have to disagree on this. I had a nelson rigg half cover that I felt was cheap & faded quickly outside.

that is an interesting opinion, as mostly my covers are used in the outside during the overnight, where the sun is not out. Never had a rigg cover split open, fade, or fail.

When I bought the Formosa cover shortly after I bought my 2010 RT they did not make a cover specifically for the RT and I simply bought the largest one they made. I had not realized that Formosa now makes an RT specific cover. It looks good and is certainly an improvement in fit over my generic cover, which won't cover both wheels.

It's nice to see that more and more companies are selling Spyder RT specific accessories.

Have used Nelson Riggs full cover on RS for two years. It is now quite brittle feeling. Never really fully waterproof. Ultra guard just received for RT is very different material - almost soft-like. No rain yet to test it. Fits very snug over everything, NR was very loose fit. Just my always humble opinion.:sour:

I have the UltraGard full cover for my RT-S, bought it new last November. Just sent it back for warranty replacement due to extreme fading and failed stitching. The cover started out black, but ended up gray. The stitching that came apart is where the windshield sleeve attaches to the main cover. Thankfully, the manufacturer only asked what was wrong and when did I get it before providing an RMA number. Even so, it cost me $10.40 to ship it back via snail mail.

This used to be jet black... the bike in the back is my scooter and that $18 eBay cover is awesome. It started off the color you see and is a year old.

Well, as a full time RVer, my new Ultraguard will be used daily so I'll keep you posted on any fading. Thanks for the heads up.
