Sunday project complete, installed a set of 2012 RT shocks on my wife's 2009 GS-SM5. Wife will give me a ride report later this week.

The difference on a 2010 RT was huge. I'm sure it'll be even better with 400 lbs less weight. :)

The black coil springs make it look great. I installed 2012 RT shocks on my 2011 RS-S. I had them up to setting #5 and it made the suspension to stiff. I'm down to setting #3 for overall riding, setting #4 for full load traveling and tight turning mountain riding. Didn't try setting #1 and setting #2 was like my old RS-S shocks. I also have a BajaRon anti-sway bar and that keep the body roll down.

UPDATE;

Wife just returned after a two hour ride. She stated what an vast improvement, no more swaying and bounce movement as before. Totally different ride now.

Other changes made;
Front shocks set to #3
Rear shock set to #4
Front PSI @ 20
Rear PSI @ 30
