I guess we'll be without a Spyder for a week or 2. I took her down to the shop for the 9800 mile service, and a couple of other things, and they are about 2 weeks out at this time. At least it will be ready for Maggie valley...

Hope they are able to get the work finished so you can make the owner's event without any issues. Best of luck.

TWO WEEKS?!?!? http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_11_1.gif We'll have to send a convoy of bikes over, to keep you from hyperventilating and passing out! ;)

I got my car to keep me entertained. Matter of fact, she's probably a little mad at me because I've neglected her for so long.
The missus on the other hand...She's gonna get the shakes in about a week...

Apparently they take their time and hopefully get it done right.

That's the queue ahead of me right now. I could have set up an appointment for 2 weeks out, but leaving it with them, they may be able to squeeze it in sometime before that, and I get a little OCD when my mileage goes past the oil change numbers...

If your okay with two weeks wait, we are too. I guess there is not to much pain and suffering if you have a Cobra as a back up.

EDIT: Shelby Charger is a great back up.

Bob, You have me confused with someone either old enough to have bought one new, or rich enough to buy one now. I'm neither... No Cobra in my garage....

No Mustang either....

...Remember when Carrol Shelby teamed up with Chrysler back in the '80's? I was 21, bought a Shelby Charger. That was the first new car I ever bought, and it just keeps following me all over the place.

Funny thing is I get that response from most people. They almost feel sorry for me... Until they go for a ride.

They say there's no replacement for displacement, but boost can be a suitable substitute.

With Memorial Day being the typical start of the water sports season you will find most dealers are pretty backed up right now

In over 2 and a half years of Spyder ownership, I have only once left my Spyder over night. And was given a loaner to get home. Usually don't even need to make an appointment. :dontknow:
