Did not want to jack this thread:

But I was curious, is any of the 622 model years easier / harder / better to adapt to a 2008 GS?

Does the "viper red" trailer match the 08 red GS?

Considering a trailer for a big road trip I have coming up.

They are all about the same. The 2010 has separate turn signals, so it would not need a converter for the lights, but the brakelights are separate (right/left) so you would have to do a simple trailer wiring mod to get brakelights. For the rest, the Spyder would need a 5-to-4 trailer converter for the lights. This is inexpensive and simple to install...the Hopkins LED converters are known to work well. The trailer connector would need to be changed to fit the Spyder output connector...usually flat-4 if a converter is used.

This assumes you will purchase an aftermarket hitch or fabricate your own. If you use the BRP hitch and harness, things are different. The 2013 version should work, but you would need to abandon the harness and wire as above, or modify the harness to fit the RS/GS and run an electrical circuit to feed the powered module.

Actually; any usage of a 622 behind a GS or RS is going to require adaptation...
They're weren't designed for this usage.
But it's been done countless times!
